Help Adam raise money for the Food For Kids Back Pack Program.
Adam Weber is a 19 year old student at Ivy Tech Community College.  He's been so moved by the economic situation in our area that he wants to step up and do something to help.  Specifically, he plans to help the Food for Kids Back Pack program.  His goal is to raise enough money to adopt another 50 kids in Hawthorn Elementary.  On Sunday, June 28th, Adam plans to run a total of 50 miles within a 24 hour time period. With each mile... he hopes to raise more money.  Please sponsor Adam to assure that more kids don't go hungry over the weekend this next school year.  All tax deductible donations go directly to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana's Back Pack program.  Please remember to indicate on the donation page that you are making your donation to help Adam raise money.  This will ensure that the donation goes to the Food For Kids Program.

Food pantries in the area are seeing record numbers of people requesting help from them. In many cases the requests have gone up 500% since last year.  Donations of food, and toiletries are needed.  Cash is greatly appreciated as the pantry can then purchase items that they aren’t getting through donations.
